This 5/6 person, 3 bedroom apartment is in a luxury doorman-controlled building ideally located on Manhattan's picturesque East side. The property is just a few blocks from the UN and Grand Central Terminal. Just a short stroll away you'll find beautiful Bryant Park, home of the city's most popular free ice-skating rink and site of many local fairs and festivals - not to mention the host of free Monday night movies all summer long!
The nearest subway is 5 blocks away, with access to 5 different lines and train service at Grand Central, on 42nd Street and Lexington Ave. Parking is available nearby at $35/day.

The apartment is located on the second floor (there is a lift) and sleeps 6 in one double, one room with a double and a single bed, and a single. There are two bathrooms. This expansive residence is perfect for a family looking to experience all the excitement of New York in style.
The spacious living area (22ft3 x 20ft3, 6.8m x 6.2m ) has an oversized 2 piece L-shaped sectional sofa covered in a rich brocade and a small ottoman. Across from the sofa is a 50" flat screen television with cable channels and a DVD/DVR player.

The room boasts an attractive wooden fireplace and includes a large and stylish dining area with a sleek wood and glass dining table that seats 6. Tasteful pieces of art and tapestry adorn the walls.
The far end of the living room is lined by huge windows that look out onto, and provide access to a private terrace running the length of the apartment. There is also a large desk with a computer (which you can use) and chair.
The newly renovated kitchen has everything you need. There is a gas range, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle.
The kitchen is beautifully outfitted with wooden cabinets, granite countertops and a smart breakfast seating area with 3 chairs.

The master bedroom (16ft4 x 11ft, 5m x 3.4m) is located to the left of the living area, and has a large and ornate reproduction antique "California king-sized" double bed (84" x 72"). Across from the bed is another flat screen television. Matching the handsome bed is a nightstand and full chest of drawers. There is also a closet available for storage.
The décor is only outshone by the scenery outside - you can see the Empire State Building from this room - the night-time view is breathtaking!

The second bedroom (14ft x 10ft3, 4.3m x 3.1m) is behind the living area on the right. Framed by a lovely French door, it has a two beds - a double and a single.

The double (73" x 54") is by the windowed wall and has a view of the terrace outside. The single (75" x 39") is an elevated loft bed, access by a short ladder, with several large drawers for storage underneath as well as a desk. This room has a bathroom en-suite, with a bathtub, overhead shower, basin and loo.
The third bedroom (14ft3 x 8ft, 4.3m x 2.4m) also entered through a French door, is the perfect "girls" room, with a cozy sleeping nook, wooden desk with shelves and chair, rocking chair and 2 drawers available for storage. The single bed (75" x 39") is romantically canopied in pink netting with colorfully contrasting walls. This room shares the en-suite bathroom of second bedroom.
The newly renovated master bathroom has a huge bathtub with an overhead shower, a wash basin and loo.

Whether coming to the city for business or for pleasure this location is perfect. You'll find convenient access to many of the city's biggest attractions. Visit the Chrysler Building on 42nd street and take their free tour. Check out the shopping at Grand Central Terminal and while you are there be sure to visit the Transit Museum for a fascinating history of the city and its subway system.
There are countless bars and restaurants at Grand Central. Head to The Campbell Apartment and sample a cocktail in this chic lounge that was once the private apartment of 1920's tycoon John W. Campbell, you'll go back in time as you sip your drink in this beautifully restored corner of the Terminal. For dinner, try Cipriani Dolci for a real taste of Northern Italian, or head over to Oyster Bar & Restaurant for an amazing selection of fresh fish and up to 30 different varieties of oysters.
